Blog Update

I was hoping to update the blog with some cool pictures from my last race in France. Unfortunately, I have not found any good ones yet, but I will post some when I find them. The race course was great, the people were awesome, and I was lucky enough to have my parents show up to watch me race. As I was coming in to the first turn, I was cut off by the lead rider, and instead of taking him out and the rest of the race heat, I decided to bail off of my board, eliminating me from the race. You can see the crash in this video at the time 4:42

I also got to ride with the loaded guys and you can see there video here, and also their writeup about Switzerland.

Went to swim in Lake Hallwyl with Michael and his friends.

Then I went to Lucern to meet up with the Loaded Crew and skate some garages. Here is the owner J and his dog in front of the shop.

Later on we hit some runs with Ramon, and he took us the Airflow Skateboards Factory where we met the owner Chris Hart.

Pass tours

Been having a lot of fun out in Switzerland!

Been doing a lot of camping and been hitting a ton of fun hills!

The picture taken above is about halfway down the hill, it is a 32 minute mammoth bomb of the most intense riding I have ever skated. Speeds vary for 55+ mph in the straights to 35-50 mph in the corners, the tunnel section is 1 1/2 car lanes wide and pitch black... you are constantly on your toes as to what is happening next. The surface is smooth in sections, but the corners have what it seems to be tank tracks in them, so if you predrift late you will get eaten up!

Unfortunately, my gopro died halfway down the hill, but I will load the footage I have soon.

It is crazy to be in Switzerland, coming from Colorado I thought I was at the highest level of hills, but coming here was like moving from a green run to a double black diamond on the slopes, it is easy to see why the best skaters come from Switzerland....they have the gnarliest hills!
